USS England DE-635 served in
World War II and distinguished herself in antisubmarine warfare by sinking
six enemy submarines in two weeks, a record that has never been surpassed.
USS England DLG-22/CG-22 served
these United States for over 30 years. Both ships carry the name of John
Charles England who lost his life on board USS Oklahoma on December 7,
1941. This web site preserves the histories of John Charles England and both
ships that carried his name. It is dedicated to those who served and those
who continue to do so on our behalf. |
